SCOUTING REPORT
Darren Townes is a versatile and athletic Forward. He is a pure 4 position player. Darren is strong and wiry in the post. He has the strength and size to guard bigger 6-8, 6-9 post players and he is fast enough to guard 6-6 players who play the ¾ position. Darren takes pride on the defensive end and likes to body up his man and is very physical when boxing out. Darren runs the floor very fast creating easy transition layups for his team. Darren has a very good 18 foot and in jump shot, he drives to the hoop well from the baseline and high post area, and he finishes strong power dunks when he gets to the rim. Darren has played against top players and college and shut them down on defense and can do the same to top players overseas
